Eminent Bhajan singer Narendra Chanchal passes away at 80!

Veteran devotional singer Narendra Chanchal passed away today after a prolonged sickness. He was 80 years old and was hospitalised at Delhi’s Apollo hospital for the last two months.
 
According to the media reports, singer’s live concert organiser Sanjay Malik verified the same. Malik revealed that the Bhajan singer passed away at around 12 PM due to age-linked issues. Chanchal was known for his religious songs and bhajans. His admirers are very disappointed about his untimely demise. He had even sung bhajans for Bollywood movies.
 
Chanchal's famous Bollywood songs like “Chalo Bulava Aaya Hai” from the movie Avtaar and “Beshak Mandir Masjid Todo” from Bobby garnered him immense popularity. He had even won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Singer for the film Bobby. Fans including celebrities have paid tribute to the veteran singer.
