Synopsis

Chhaava is an Indian Hindi-language historical action film based on the life of Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, played by Vicky Kaushal. It is an adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant. Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna.

"Chhaava" is a visually stunning and emotionally engaging film that tells the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj with great sensitivity and power. The film is well-researched and historically accurate, and it does a great job of bringing Sambhaji Maharaj's life and times to the screen.   
 
Vicky Kaushal delivers a career-defining performance as Sambhaji Maharaj. He embodies the character's strength, courage, and intelligence with great conviction. Rashmika Mandanna also delivers a strong performance as Yesubai, Sambhaji Maharaj's wife. The supporting cast is also excellent, and the film's ensemble cast does a great job of bringing the world of the Maratha Empire to life.   
 
Laxman Utekar's direction is top-notch. He has crafted a film that is both visually stunning and emotionally resonant. The film's action sequences are well-choreographed and exciting, and the film's emotional moments are handled with great sensitivity.
