Vicky Kaushal's next movie, Chhaava, is sure to enthrall viewers. Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, and Divya Dutta are also in the Laxman Utekar-directed historical drama. Dutta discussed working with Kaushal in a recent interview and related a touching story, stating, 'Vicky is adorable. He wouldn’t leave until he had given cues to his co-stars. I would ask him to go, but he’d refuse' adding 'he is one of the finest actors we have.'

Divya Dutta, who co-stars with Vicky Kaushal in Chhaava, praised her co-star at a media discussion. She revealed that Vicky is quite cute and often gave his co-stars hints when they were on set.

He would refuse to go even when she urged him to, demonstrating his dedication, she said. Dutta further emphasized their relationship, stating that their close friendship was a result of their frequent conversations in Punjabi. Despite his acting prowess, she said Kaushal's humility and modesty show out, making him one of the best performers.

Dutta, who was thrilled to be a part of the historical drama that was based on the reign of the Maratha monarch, thought back to her role as Soyarabai, the stepmother of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, who had plotted against him.

She said that the role was entirely different from anything she had ever done before when director Laxman Utekar initially described it to her, especially in terms of the character's appearance and demeanor. She mentioned how she was genuinely transported by dressing a certain manner and entering her character's world.

In addition, Dutta praised Utekar's directing, saying the film's visuals were breathtaking and that the pictures he took gave her chills. She said she was thrilled to be involved in such a project.
