'Pathaan' being important for Bollywood would be an understatement. The industry had an underwhelming 2022 with only few movies bringing in big numbers at the box office. 'Pathaan' brings back Shah Rukh Khan to the big screen after a gap of more than 4 years, and the movie is off to an excellent start, if advance bookings are to go by. Ajay Devgn launched the second teaser of his upcoming movie 'Bholaa' on Tuesday and it was then that he spoke about being happy looking at the advance bookings for 'Pathaan'.
"I want every film to be super duper hit. Now Pathaan is releasing and whatever reports we are reading about the advance booking it seems fantastic and I am very happy about it from the bottom of my heart," said Devgn during a promotional event.
The video of the same was uploaded by an user, and he asked Shah Rukh Khan on Twitter: "@iamsrk Sir ajay devgn is very happy with the advance booking of pathaan !! Any words about him? His film #BholaaTeaser2 released today!! #AskSRK."
To this, SRK replied: "Ajay has been a pillar of support and love to me and my family for years. He is a wonderful actor and beautiful human being. Strong and silent."
Ajay Devgn then responded back to SRK, saying he values the bond between the two as much as the 'Chak de India' actor does.
"Dear @iamsrk, thank you for your love and presence. I value the bond we share as much as you do. Pathaan collections look poised to go through the roof. I’m happy that as an industry things are looking up for us," Devgn tweeted.
