Alaya F has appeared in a few movies thus far after making her acting debut in the 2020 Saif Ali Khan flick Jawaani Jaaneman. Additionally, she starred in the films Freddy and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. This year, Alaya was last seen in the movie Srikanth, starring Rajkummar Rao.
She is the granddaughter of Kabir Bedi and the daughter of Pooja Bedi, for those who are unaware. Are you aware that Alaya F was previously 'permitted' to see the one and only movie that her mother, actress Pooja Bedi, acted in?
Alaya F disclosed in a recent media conversation that her mother Pooja Bedi did not "permit" her to watch every movie she wanted to see, with the exception of Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikander. The leads in the 1992 movie were Aamir Khan and Ayesha Jhulka. The actress from Freddy stated, "My mother allowed me to see only one movie she has been a part of - Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar."
When asked why, Alaya F revealed that it was because her mother Pooja felt ashamed of the roles she had played in earlier movies. "She didn’t let me see the rest because she was so embarrassed by what she had done in them," the young actress further revealed.
Alaya F also mentioned that she had previously come onto one of Pooja Bedi's videos from the movie in which she was featured. "Once, on her birthday, I found some footage of one of her other films, and she was so embarrassed that we all were laughing," the Jawaani Jaaneman actress recalled.
