Despite the Criticism: Ibrahim Ali Khan Finds Positives in Nadaaniyan Reaction!

Nadaaniyan, starring Khushi Kapoor and Ibrahim Ali Khan, was heavily criticized online following its premiere. A portion of online users evaluated both main stars' acting performances. The debutant accepted the nature of online platforms and responded to the social media response over a month later.

Ibrahim Ali Khan was questioned about the conflicting reviews of his first movie, Nadaaniyan, in an interview with a tabloid. The debutant acknowledged reading the reviews in response, but he was pleased that some consumers could see what he had to offer.

He told, "I’ve seen the mixed reviews on social media — they do fry your brains a bit. Obviously, most of them are bad because that’s just how social media works. But I’m glad that a lot of people can see what I may be able to bring to the table. I’m happy with the response I got from the film industry. I’m quite pleased."

The actor also said that there is always space for development after reflecting on his performance in the Netflix movie. He did, however, say he was happy with his career level at the moment.

Ibrahim mentioned in the chat that when people see a movie, they have very high expectations. That being said, he said Nadaaniyan was not intended to be a "grand film." Saif Ali Khan's son called his movie a "sweet, breezy rom-com" that one could watch while lounging in bed on a Friday night.

He highlighted how his film was "twisted a lot" on social media, even though he acknowledged that he needed to earn a lot more than he did.

"I know I can bring it and I am confident that I will bring it in my future projects. But I’m happy with what it was. I worked with hardworking people, and we made a sweet film," He added that he enjoyed working on the movie in spite of the criticism.

Ibrahim Ali Khan made his acting and Shauna Gautam's directing debuts with Nadaaniyan. Key parts were played by Khushi Kapoor, Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj.
