'Kuttey' actress Radhika Madan stirred quite a controversy as she spoke about the long hours and lack of creativity that prevails in the television industry. Now, in a latest, seasoned producer Ekta Producer has also joined the chorus of dissent against Radhika Madan.
It all started when TV actress Sayantani Ghosh, who had appeared in the fourth season of 'Naagin' expressed her disappointment at what Radhika had to say.
“Let me tell you, TV feeds hundreds and hundreds of women, and gives them employment, and biggest of movie stars also choose TV to come and promote their films. So I didn’t like that approach,” said Ghosh in an interview with Siddharth Kannan.
Taking to her Instagram story, Ekta Kapoor wrote: "Sad and shameful actors have no respect for their roots Kudos @sayantanighosh0609.”
As per the Indian Express, Radhika Madan had said that whenever she would ask for a script, the response would be: "Aap set pe chalo, script garma garam aa rahi hai.”
She also spoke about how directors would be replaced at the end in television, and they would also express rejection to any inputs she had.
