Emraan Hashmi responds to Tanushree Dutta labeling their chemistry as brother-sister!

The romantic sequence in the film's title song, Aashiq Banaya Aapne, starring Emraan Hashmi and Tanushree Dutta, has left a lasting impression on the hearts and minds of a whole generation. However, many were taken aback when Tanushree revealed that she had a brother-sister-like chemistry with the actor in the movie.

In response to Tanushree's remark, Emraan has now stated that he was never informed of the "incest" scenario.

 

When Emraan Hashmi was informed about Aashiq Banaya Aapne's impact during a media chat, he questioned the host if he still remembered what Tanushree Dutta had said a few weeks prior. The actress described their relationship as "brotherly," but the actor went on to say that he wasn't sure whether it was a "verbatim quote".

 

With a chuckle, Emraan remembered thinking that the director had told him something different. "I had another narrative going on my head and she had another narrative going in her head. I was never told the story about incest. I don't know what she was thinking but fine,” The actor, who is presently occupied with promoting the latest episode of his series Showtime, stated.

 

Tanushree Dutta previously talked candidly about how people criticize her for doing intimate sequences during a media chat. While she revealed that even the biggest actresses have done lovemaking scenes on screen, she added that there was nothing personal between her and Emraan and their chemistry was like brother and sister.

 

Good Boy, Bad Boy and Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets are two more films in which Emraan and Tanushree collaborated before and after Aashiq Banaya Aapne.
