Stree 2 star Abhishek Banerjee reminiscences how his college teachers would tease him!

Casting director-actor Abhishek Banerjee, well known for the Stree series, Paatal Lok, and Bhediya, has recently gained popularity. Abhishek, who appeared in Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's film Stree 2 earlier this month, has expressed his admiration for Amitabh Bachchan on multiple occasions. The actor got to work with Big B in the upcoming film Section 84. Abhishek recently recalled how his teachers teased him as "Deewar ka Amitabh" in college.

 

During a media interview, Abhishek Banerjee stated that he is an "OG" admirer of Amitabh Bachchan and that he attended college because of him.

Abhishek stated that while many people refer to themselves as Mr. Bachchan fans, the casting director-actor referred to himself as the "OG Bachchan fan". This is why he went to college, the Stree 2 star explained.

 

"Meri chaal wesi thi. Mujhe teachers bolte the ki 'bhai tu kya hai Deewar ka Amitabh bane ghum raha hai' (My body language was like his. My teachers used to call me Deewar's Amitabh")" he continued.

 

In an old media interaction, Abhishek Banerjee revealed that he captured Amitabh Bachchan's entrance to the Section 84 set. Abhishek added that he taped the occasion because he never wanted to forget it in his life. The Paatal Lok actor also stated that Big B's walk transported him to the megastar's "nostalgic era" during his best years.

 

In addition to Stree 2, Abhishek Banerjee appeared in John Abraham's film Vedaa. This year's Independence Day falls on August 15, and both films were released on that date.
