Sushmita Sen feels proud of being a single parent!

Celebrity Sushmita Sen, who most recently appeared in Aarya's third season, is known for inspiring her followers all over the world. Fans adore the former Miss Universe because she exudes confidence, grace, and clarity while expressing her opinions.

 

The actress makes news for her personal life, including her relationship status and maternity journey, in addition to her films and interviews. Renee and Alisah, Sushmita's two adoptive kids, recently looked back on her journey.

During an interview with a daily, Sushmita Sen shared her experiences as a mother thus far. The 48-year-old actress revealed that she encourages self-love and is pleased to be Renee and Alisah's single parent.

 

"I want to give myself a pat on my back as a mother every day," Sushmita told.

 

The actress from Aarya complimented herself, stating that she makes a decent mother. "I am not someone who has to be told ki aap kitni achchi maa hain (...how good you are as a mother). I already know that," she further added.

 

Sushmita Sen recalled how difficult her time as a mother had been, yet she managed it on her own.

 

"It was challenging throughout because I have done it alone. And so, the perception that 'Oh! She is Sushmita Sen, and she can do it, is not true," the Biwi No. 1 actress revealed.

 

Sushmita, who is the same age as her kids, called being a single mother "gratifying." Her kids are Renee and Alisah. Put another way, the actress said that she picks up a new skill every day.

Sushmita Sen became a mother and a vocalist at the age of 24. Sushmita adopted Renee, her older daughter, in 2000, and Alisah, her younger daughter, in 2010. In September of this year, Renee turns 25, and Alisah is 14 years old.
