Triptii Dimri shares her experience of working alongside Vicky Kaushal and Rajkummar Rao!

In an interview, Triptii Dimri talked about her experiences costarring with Vicky Kaushal and Rajkummar Rao on Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video and Bad Newz. She acknowledged that at first, being around such skilled actors made her feel uneasy. She said she was frozen and hadn't spoken to Vicky in three days. Speaking highly of her new co-star Rajkummar, Triptii said, "He can finish a two-page monologue in one go."
During a media conversation, Dimri talked about her experiences working with Rao and The URI actor, mentioning how she would witness them turn scripted phrases into something truly remarkable.
She brought up the fact that some movies need performers to improvise on location and underlined that while drama gives actors more time to digest their feelings, comedy in particular necessitates constant awareness.
She acknowledged that at first, she found drama more difficult, but over time, she has grown more accustomed to it. Triptii also revealed that during the first several days of filming, particularly when they began with a song scene, she was really anxious about Vicky.
She stated, “I was so nervous. For three days, I was (frozen). We shot the song first. I didn’t even interact with Vicky properly because I was so nervous looking at him perform. It took me 5-10 days to get used to the crew, the scale of the film, the director…”
Similar things happened to Dimri when she was working on the Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video set. She said that the movie was a perfect comedy and that working with such talented actors as Rajkummar Rao and Archana Puran Singh left her wondering how they were able to carry out their parts with such ease. She remembered instances in which the background artists and crew would erupt into laughter while performing their scenes.
She revealed, “Rajkummar can finish a two-page monologue in one go, without messing up the lines. There’s so much to learn, every day.” On October 11, 2024, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video will be released in theatres.
