Vijay Varma was once again in the spotlight for his excellent follow-up performance in Lust Stories 2 as well as for his love life after getting tremendous critical acclaim for his negative portrayal in Darlings last year. He continued by confirming his relationship with Tamannaah Bhatia, his co-star in Lust Stories 2. Before the couple put a stop to all the rumours and publicly declared their love for one another, there had been rumours about their relationship flying around for a while. In the midst of all the discussion over Vijay's relationship, the actor has now spoken out about the pressure from his family to postpone his marriage.
In a recent media chat, Vijay Varma was questioned if he has had to deal with family questions about his marital intentions. Vijay answered that he was already familiar with such pressure. He revealed, “I am a Marwari. In our community, boys are considered of a marriage-able age at 16. So, all this began very early with me and also ended very early because I went past the marriageable age. On top of that, I had become an actor by then so there was that too.”
The actor continued, saying he had never thought about these questions and had only been concerned with furthering his career. However, his mother has never given up on getting him married. Vijay told, “My mother still asks me. On every phone call she still asks me but I am just able to dodge it because I am doing well in my life.”
On the professional front, Vijay is getting ready for the release of his forthcoming crime drama series Kaalkoot.
