Halle Berry opens up on John Wick Spinoff focused on Sofia!

Although Halle Berry's portrayal of Strom in X-Men and later in the DC picture Catwoman astounded us, the action-packed John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum is the one that left audiences feeling deeply moved.

The Moonfall actor revealed more about her persona, talking about whether or not viewers will ever see a spinoff centered on Sophia. In the 2019 film, Berry portrayed Sophia, a character who provides numerous benefits to Keanu Reeves's character John Wick.

 

Speaking with a newspaper, The Union actress said, "Yeah I wish that storyline would have happened, but that's not the route they went [in John Wick: Chapter 4].”

 

Berry continued, saying that she thought a narrative centered on Sophia would be "cool" to see and participate in, during the interview where she was shown prompting her most recent horror entry, Never Let Go.

 

“We talked about it, that's for sure. We seeded it in John Wick: Chapter 3, and we've talked about a spin-off with Lionsgate that could potentially happen,” The actress from Kingsman: The Golden Circle continued to hint.

 

She continued by saying that the studios needed to start Sophia's spinoff production as soon as possible and that it would "potentially happen."

The Cloud Atlas actress expressed her enthusiasm in the role and the plot by stating that she adores both the John Wick character and that universe.

We are still in for a treat, even though it is unclear whether or not we will be watching a spinoff that centers on Sophia's role.

 

The revelation that Halle Berry's Sophia had survived the events of the third John Wick film has greatly increased the excitement of her fans for Berry's return to the critically acclaimed action franchise.
