The Kerala Story star Adah Sharma recently responded to speculation that she was going to purchase the old home of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Situated on the sixth floor of the Mont Blanc building in Bandra West, Mumbai, this property is a sea-facing duplex with a 4BHK apartment and a terrace. Adah stated on August 12 that she had rented the apartment rather than purchased it during an occasion where Vikram Bhatt had presented his next flicks.

A media source said that she said, “I took that flat on rent. The Rs. 378 crores earned by The Kerala Story (2023) are not mine!” She added, “Even Sushant used to stay in that house on rent.”

After a journalist questioned Adah Sharma about whether or not she owned the apartment, the actress responded. She clarified any confusion over her revenue from The Kerala Story (2023) by saying that the Rs. 378 crores from the movie do not represent her earnings. Adah clarified that although her mother does not work but makes meals for the family, she does help with the rent. Her grandmother, who also lives in the apartment, does not.

The actress further disclosed that Mr. Lalwani, who is currently residing in South Africa, is the owner of the apartment. She mentioned that the property had also been rented by Sushant Singh Rajput. At this point, Vikram Bhatt made a funny comment about Adah's empty house, implying that she doesn't think it exists. Adah chuckled and said she had not had any furnishings in her previous house either. Intrigued, Vikram remarked, “I don’t know what that means!”

Adah went on to say that she loves to dance, which is why she prefers an unfilled room. She enjoys that there are no barriers in her way and that the space is open. She chooses not to have furniture because she wants to make the most of the space in her lovely home in Mumbai, where space is highly prized.

It seems that the Kerala Story actress rented this particular flat more out of practicality and personal preference than out of a desire to create a statement. When she and her family decided to move in, the apartment had been vacant for three years.

Regarding her career, Adah Sharma will play the lead role in Tumko Meri Kasam, directed by Vikram Bhatt and starring Esha Deol, Anupam Kher, and Ishwak Singh.
