Kareena responds to a legal notice from MP HC over the name of her book Pregnancy Bible!

Kareena Kapoor Khan has recently been caught in a controversy over the name of her book, Pregnancy Bible. In response to a judicial notification issued by the Madhya Pradesh High Court in May, the actress stated that she had no intention of offending any religious emotions.

 

The notification followed a petition filed by advocate Christopher Anthony, who attempted to prohibit the sale of Kareena's book. The Crew actress responded through lawyers Divya Krishna Billaiya and Nikhil Bhatt, emphasizing that she had no intention of offending anyone's religious beliefs. Her response was to redirect the objection to the selling of her book, Pregnancy Bible, which she also referred to as her 'third child'.

 

According to a newspaper, the Madhya Pradesh High Court has scheduled a hearing in this case on September 10. Justice GS Ahluwalia will preside.

 

Anthony, a social activist from Jabalpur, had remarked that the term 'Bible' looks to be offensive to the Christian community's views. He quoted, “The Bible is the holy book of Christianity and it is wrong to compare Kareena Kapoor Khan's pregnancy with the Bible.”

 

The court had already rejected Anthony's appeal, stating that he had failed to demonstrate how the term bible was insulting in Kareena's book. The guy subsequently filed an appeal with the Additional Sessions Court, where his petition was dismissed as well. When the warning was finally given to Kareena, the sellers and publishers received legal notices as well.

 

Another Christian organization expressed worry about the title of Kareena's book in 2021, prompting a police complaint in Maharashtra's Beed against the actress and two people on the grounds of allegedly insulting religious sensitivities. The entire legal problem has yet to be resolved in court.

 

Regarding her profession, the diva is preparing to release The Buckingham Murders, followed by Singham Again this year.
