Rajkummar Rao, who recently appeared in Stree 2, has been in the Hindi cinema industry for more than a decade. Rao made his cinematic debut in Dibakar Banerjee's Love Sex Aur Dhokha, an anthology film from 2010. Those familiar with LSD will recall the daring passage done by the Stree 2 actor in his debut picture. Rajkummar Rao recently discussed how he informed his parents about the "bu*t-naked scene" in Banerjee's film, as well as his late mother's reaction.

During a media interview, Rajkummar Rao revealed that his late mother, Kamlesh Yadav, was perfectly fine with him performing the sequence in Love Sex Aur Dhokha.

"I informed my parents and my mother was very sweet. She said 'If it's a part of your job, you are an actor, if you think it's very very important, then yeah. Go for it'," Rao remembered.

The Stree 2 actor was questioned if he had any non-negotiable factors in mind at the start of his career and if his opinions on them had evolved over time.

Rajkummar Rao stated that he had no reservations about moving outside of his comfort zone to play his role if the character required it. Rao stated that the position must be "convincing" enough. Remembering the brazen scene from LSD, the actor claimed that the sequence was not "cleared" by the Censor Board at the time. It was blurred when the film was released.

The Love Sex Aur The Dhokha actor went on to say that he was "scared," but because it was his "big break," he couldn't deny the job over comfort. Rao also stated that he accepted to do his part while knowing that the opportunity may never come again.

Rajkummar Rao also stated that if someone needs to persuade him of a role or scene, the former should make him believe that the film cannot be made without them.

Rao appeared in Love Sex Aur Dhokha's Sex segment, Paap ki Dukkaan. It was a drama film based on found footage and starring Nusshrat Bharuccha. Ekta Kapoor produced the film under the auspices of Balaji Telefilms' ALT Entertainment.
