For a double-role comedy film, Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor and director Anees Bazmee are working together for the first time. Anees Bazmee told a media source last month that he was writing the screenplay and that it would probably begin production in July or August once the scripting was finished. We now know that the creators have chosen a release date as well. The movie will be released on Bakri Eid in 2024 and will compete at the box office with Chandu Champion, starring Kartik Aaryan.
The debut film from Shahid Kapoor and Anees Bazmee will be released on June 14, which falls over the Bakri Eid holiday. Chandu Champion, directed by Kabir Khan and starring Kartik Aaryan, would be released on June 14 in 2024, on the occasion of Bakri Eid. This was also revealed by Sajid Nadiadwala yesterday. In the meantime, in a media chat in June, Anees Bazmee revealed, “At present I am writing, and as soon as I finish that we will start the film. Though we are looking at July-August to begin. I am just waiting to complete my writing, a lot of it is finished already. You know, it's creative work and you can’t really put a timeline to it.” Dil Raju is reportedly supporting the unnamed comedy escapade. A formal announcement on the movie's releasing date is pending.
