Following his big-screen debut in Bloody Daddy, Shahid Kapoor is back with Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, a science fiction romance comedy starring Kriti Sanon. The actor justified the film's lengthy title while the famous couple is busy promoting their next release.

The upcoming movie Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, is now undergoing intense promotion. The star was chatting with a tabloid about their movie. The actor was asked if they considered the issue that the movie's title is a little too long for viewers to pronounce during their open conversation. The actor shared his thoughts on it, stating that when the legendary film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge first came out, everyone spoke about how the title was a little long because all the other movie titles were like Ghatak, Ghayal, Jeet, and so forth.

However, Shahid Kapoor says it's acceptable to use a little lengthier title when you want to create a love tale. “In fact, all the love stories that have come out last year also had slightly longish titles. And this just felt right for the film,” he shared.

He reminisced about his time working with Imtiaz Ali on the film Jab We Met, revealing that the movie's title was viewed with doubt. “I remember when I did Jab We Met, everyone was like ‘What is this title?’ Because at that time, this whole thing of Hindi-English, like putting a Hindi and an English word in one title was not a thing,” he said adding that people have a habit of expecting something and anything out of the regular feels a little odd. “But we just felt that at that time the film was a very contemporary love story,” The actor expressed his opinion, saying that people now refer to it as a classic title when they discuss it.

The actor Kabir Singh claims that once people see the movie, it will stick with them forever because they will recognize it for themselves as they get closer to it and see the trailer and listen to the soundtrack. Having said that, they were aware from the start that this was a lengthy title and were ready for the discussion that would follow.
