Sumbul Touqeer Khan, the youngest contestant in ‘Bigg Boss 16’, has been winning hearts for how she has stayed put inside the ‘BB’ house for a really long time as the controversial reality show is on its last legs. While fans have been enjoying her off-screen persona, they got treated to Sumbul’s impeccable acting chops as she recreated a scene from the famous Colors TV show ‘Uttaran’, which starred Rashami Desai and Tina Datta in the lead roles.
Receiving praise from the show’s OG star is something big right? Sumbul Touqeer was showered with love and appreciation from none other than Rashami Desai as the former recreated the scene with fellow ‘BB 16’ contestant Tina Datta.
Taking to Twitter, Rashami Desai posted a video which showed Sumbul and Tina Datta recreating the ‘Uttaran’ magic. While Tina portrayed her own character, Ichcha, Sumbul effortlessly essayed Rashami’s character Tapasya from the show.
For the unversed, Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Tina Datta acted out the scene from ‘Uttaran’ on ‘BB 16’ as a part of the audition that was held by Ekta Kapoor and Dibaker Banerjee for ‘Love Sex Aur Dhoka 2’.
Ekta Kapoor had signed ‘BB 16’ contestant Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia for her upcoming film. Ekta also announced that she has found her next Naagin while auditioning the ladies and either of them from the four (Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Tina Datta, Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Archana Gautam) will be getting a call from her soon after the reality show ends.
