Varun Dhawan and David Dhawan are returning again for another comedy caper, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, following the box office triumphs of Main Tera Hero and Judwaa 2. Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde have already filmed more than half of the movie, and according to a media source, the crew is prepared for a month-long marathon schedule in Scotland that will begin on April 22.

Sources close to the development said that Varun Dhawan and company are prepared for a 30-day shoot in Scotland, which will include the filming of two important songs, a chase scene, and other humorous scenes from Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. “It’s a big 30-day schedule, which consolidates the multi-genre elements of a David Dhawan film. Varun and team are excited for this big international leg, which brings in a fresh vibe to the comic caper,” disclosed a source with knowledge of the development.

According to the source, David Dhawan has a large cast working on the movie. “Apart from the leading pair of Varun, Mrunal, and Pooja, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai features Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Mouni Roy, Chunkey Panday, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar in key roles. A lot of combination scenes, leading to chaos on screen will be shot in Scotland. The conclusion of Scotland schedule will lead to a film wrap, not-with-standing a couple of songs and some patchwork sequences,” the source revealed. Under his TIPS brand, Ramesh Taurani is the film's producer.

According to insiders, Varun Dhawan will once more be featured in the "comedy" role in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. The actor will also be seen showcasing his dancing skills on a few desi songs from David Dhawan's filmography. Varun will wrap off this comedy adventure before going on to Border 2 and the eagerly anticipated No Entry sequel, which stars Anees Bazmee.
