All eyes are on Vijay Deverakonda and his next projects in the wake of the Liger fiasco. The actor revealed on Sunday that he will once more work with Parasuram Petla, the director of his critically acclaimed film Geetha Govindam. Dil Raju is the financier of the untitled movie through Sri Venkateshwara Cinemas.
As per media updates, the film was officially launched yesterday, February 5. The makers took to Twitter to announce the electrifying collaboration and wrote, "Very happy to announce that we are collaborating with blockbuster combination of The #VijayDeverakonda @TheDeverakonda & @ParasuramPetla for our upcoming film. Stay tuned for more updates..."
Vijay Deverakonda also tweeted, "We are getting back together."
Their second film together is currently untitled. The actor and director team earlier made the hugely successful entertainer Geetha Govindam in 2018. Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay appeared in the romantic comedy. As per makers, it was a new script and not a sequel to Geetha Govindam.
The upcoming romance comedy Kushi will feature Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda on screen together. The drama is being funded by Mythri Movie Makers and is being conceptualised and directed by Shiva Nirvana. Due to Samantha's health, the movie's filming has been postponed. However, the crew recently started filming again, and Kushi is scheduled to be released this year in 2023. A precise release date has not yet been declared.
