Inshallah might have been put on hold after Salman Khan exited stage left but Sanjay Leela Bhansali has new plans for the dates Alia Bhatt allocated to it.

 

Apparently the maverick filmmaker wants to cast her in his long-gestating movie about Gangubai Kothewali. SLB had originally planned the period flick about the madam who ran a brothel while also offering protection to women forced into the sex trade with Priyanka Chopra in the lead, but he’s working on a rewrite to suit Alia. I’ll let you know if and when it’s a done deal.
