Chandu Champion, Kartik Aaryan's debut film of 2024, was just released. Based on the life and hardships of Paralympian gold medallist Murlikant Petkar, the film is a biographical sports drama.

Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag is one of the many celebrities who have hailed Kartik and director Kabir Khan for creating this masterpiece.

Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan released Chandu Champion, the much anticipated film, on June 14. Murlikant Petkar, a paralympian gold medallist, has a compelling biography that has won over both the general public and critics.

The poignant movie, which depicts how challenging it was for Petkar to bring the gold home, also had a profound emotional impact on former Indian cricket player Virender Sehwag. Giving a tabloid his review of the film, he specified in Hindi, “Maine kal ek picture dekhi uska naam tha Chandu Champion. Kamaal ki picture hai. Usme dikhaya gaya hai ki jo humare paralympic ke khiladi the unki kitni dikkaton ke saath guzarna pada. (I saw a movie whose name is Chandu Champion. It’s an amazing film. It showcases the struggles of our paralympic players.)”

Furthermore, host and actor Gaurav Kapur revealed that everyone had to be aware of this amazing tale of Paralympians in various sports. He also urged the audience to attend the film and learn about the hardships faced by sportsmen in all sports as a public service announcement.

Under his company Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Sajid Nadiadwala produces Chandu Champion, which is directed by Kabir Khan. An outstanding group of performers including Vijay Raaz, Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Aniruddh Dave, Shreyas Talpade, Sonali Kulkarni, and many more join Kartik Aaryan, who is the show's leader.
