Ortega admitted, "Child acting is strange," and considered her parents' concerns about placing her in an adult-dominated industry. She realized that if she had stayed in Coachella Valley, her character and demeanor would have been drastically different.

She stressed how these early encounters affected her outlook on life, stating that many young actors communicate in a "secret little language" of mutual understanding. This relationship connects her to others who entered the field at an early age.

Ortega also thanked her parents for keeping her life in balance, making sure she had time for school, friends, and usual kid activities. She appreciated their emphasis on keeping straight A's, attending public school, and getting enough rest before taking on roles. "Kids aren't supposed to work like that," she stated, emphasizing that childhood should be spent free of adult working constraints.

She also remarked that child actors' enhanced maturity frequently conceals their genuine age. Their tight schedules and obligations cause them to live lives that are not typical of their age.

As Ortega continues to balance the responsibilities of her popularity with her joys, her outlook on the future remains optimistic. Along with her sensitivity and introspection, her resilience and perseverance indicate that she is prepared to face whatever comes her way.
