Shakya Akhtar received her degree from Lancaster University in the UK, and father Farhan Akhtar is smiling with satisfaction. The actor-director shared some wonderful images and videos from his daughter's graduation ceremony on July 18. Screenwriter Javed Akhtar, Farhan's father, and his ex-wife Adhuna Bhabani were also in attendance.
Farhan posted numerous images from his daughter's graduation ceremony to his Instagram page. He posted, "Congratulations to our graduate, Shakya .. such a proud moment to be there as a family and celebrate your achievement. Onwards and upwards .. the world is yours." Tagging his sister Zoya Akhtar and his younger daughter Akhira Akhtar, the actor wrote, "Missed you."
