YRF congratulates Dinesh Vijan and team for Stree 2's 'humongous success'!

Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana, has caused ripples at the box office and captured the hearts of filmgoers. The film's tremendous success has even got a special mention from Yash Raj Films, which remarked that the makers had experienced "humongous success and the industry couldn't be happier".

In a recent conversation, Amar Kaushik discussed how he was able to deliver a movie office smash without relying on huge actors, emphasizing the importance of story over star power.

 

 

During a media interview, Amar explained his filmmaking style, stating that his crew did not seek a star for their films. Instead, they concentrated on developing a good plot first, and then casting the appropriate actors to fit the story. He recalled his own sentiments as a viewer five years ago, when he believed that plots were frequently overlooked in favor of star-centric films, which he did not enjoy.
