Today, April 2, is Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn's birthday. He is renowned for his versatility and is one of the most acclaimed stars in the industry. On this unique day, let's remember when his wife, the actress Kajol, complimented him on his culinary abilities and disclosed that he specializes in creating "amazing khichdi" for her. She went on to say that in order to keep his recipes a secret, he prefers to close the kitchen door while cooking.

To commemorate her 30 years in the movie business, Kajol once appeared on a special edition of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs. The Do Patti actress couldn't contain her excitement when host Bharti Singh questioned her about her husband Ajay's culinary prowess and his go-to dish during the show.

She revealed that the Shaitaan actor is an extremely devoted cook, even if it may be difficult to believe. She went on to say that he has a unique culinary style and that all of his creations are quite tasty.

Ajay Devgn genuinely loves to cook, but he would rather keep it a secret, Kajol added. She also said, “He shuts the door of the kitchen when he is cooking. Even when he is cooking, he doesn't share his recipes or what he is preparing. He often cooks amazing khichdi for me and that is his specialty.”

For those who don't know, Kajol and Ajay were married in 1999 and had two kids: Yug in 2010 and Nysa in 2003.

Regarding his career, Ajay Devgn will next be seen playing the legendary character of Amay Patnaik in the much-anticipated Raid 2, which is the follow-up to the 2018 smash film Raid. He portrayed a senior income tax officer in the first film, and the follow-up is expected to provide viewers with an even more captivating experience. On May 1, it will be released in theaters.

The actor also has a busy schedule of films, which includes Golmaal 5, Son of Sardaar 2, Drishyam 3, De De Pyaar De 2, Dhamaal 4, and Ranger.

However, Kajol is scheduled to play a significant part in the ageless conflict between good and evil in the upcoming epic horror movie Maa. The movie is scheduled to open on June 27, 2025.
