Akshay Kumar frequently has a busy schedule of forthcoming projects. The actor also had a busy year in 2024, starring in three different films. Unfortunately, though, none of them were able to have a favorable effect at the box office. In response to a question regarding his poor year, Khiladi Kumar said that hard work and determination had built his entire career at this rate.

With Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar kicked off 2024. Sarfira and Khel Khel Mein followed. The crowd wasn't impressed by the three entertainers, despite the actor and the company having high expectations for them. As a result, last year's box office performance was disastrous. He is currently preparing for Sky Force, his debut release in 2025. When the trailer for the forthcoming action movie was out, Kumar thought back on his unsatisfactory 2024 in terms of his career.

The OMG 2 actor said during the occasion that this was not the first time something similar has occurred to him. The senior star believes that continuing to put in a lot of effort is the best course of action.

According to Akshay, he constantly reminds himself and other people that hard effort must be continued. Additionally, he disclosed that individuals approach him and recommend that he work on no more than two projects annually. However, he believes that if he is capable of doing more, why not?

“My entire career has been made at this pace with dedication and hard work. I have also been told not to take up content-based films, but I don’t want to do that,” a daily quoted Kumar saying. He added that, despite the failure of his drama picture Sarfira, starring Radhika Madan, he is glad to have produced such a work. The actor from Mission Raniganj declared, "It is one of my best films."

To refresh your memory, Kumar also made two cameo appearances in 2024. First up was Amar Kaushik’s Stree 2, and the next was Rohit Shetty’s multi-starrer movie Singham Again. Meanwhile, on the work front, he will be next seen in Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur’s Sky Force with Sara Ali Khan and Veer Pahariya, which will be released in theaters on January 24, 2025.

Kumar is also working on films like Jolly LLB 3, Welcome To The Jungle, Housefull 5, Hera Pheri 3, and Bhoot Bangala.
