Khanna shared a touching moment when SRK thanked her for the "sumptuous dinner in NY." He claimed that cooking for SRK and his mother at the Bungalow was the greatest honor, even though he had hosted four US presidents and many other world leaders. He remembered being brought to tears when the actor said that he had come to commemorate a site that symbolizes parents and culture.

Chef Vikas Khanna posted a photo of himself with Shah Rukh Khan on X along with a sweet statement wishing him a happy birthday. In response, SRK replied to thank the chef for the delicious supper in New York, "Thank u Chef… lots of love to you Vikas and all the best with your future endeavors and thanks for the sumptuous dinner in NY."

Vikas revealed that SRK had brought him to tears when he held his hand at "Bungalow" and conveyed his profound admiration for the location, which stands for heritage, culture, and family.

“When you were eating at Bungalow & held my hand & said, 'I’ve not come to just a restaurant, I’ve come to honor a place that represents our parents & our culture'. I cried like a child," he posted.

He referred to SRK as a "Lion King," acknowledged his pride in him, and sent blessings to his mother as he concluded his heartfelt homage.
