After Rhea Chakraborty was officially exonerated of all charges in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, Bollywood actress Dia Mirza recently resorted to social media to demand an apology.

Dia Mirza shared a message on her Instagram Stories:, “Who in the media will have the grace to put out a written apology to Rhea Chakraborthy and her family? You went on a witch hunt.”

She further wrote, “You caused deep anguish and harassment just for TRPs. Apologize. That's the very least you can do.”

After the CBI submitted two closing reports on March 22, Dia Mirza replied. The reports deal with two different cases: one that dealt with Rhea Chakraborty's charges against Sushant Singh Rajput's family, and the other that dealt with an allegation made by Sushant's father against her.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) formally assumed control of the investigation from the Bihar Police in August 2020. The case was thoroughly investigated by the CBI, who have finally cleared Rhea of all charges against her. removing all charges made against her. According to sources, she has been handed a clean sheet, along with her brother, parents, and all other defendants in the case.

For those who are not familiar, Rhea Chakraborty was the subject of constant media attention in the SSR death case. She was arrested in September 2020 as a result of the extensive coverage and conjecture surrounding the case, and she was subsequently sent to Byculla Jail in Mumbai. After being detained for 28 days, she was eventually released on bond.

Satish Maneshinde, Rhea Chakraborty's attorney, responded to the CBI's closure report by applauding the agency's conclusions and thanking them for the exhaustive investigation that took place over the previous four and a half years. He expressed relief that the issue had been thoroughly investigated from every perspective before being resolved.

In light of the case's circumstances, he vehemently denounced the pervasive false information and stated, “The amount of false narrative in social media and electronic media was totally uncalled for. Innocent people were hounded and paraded before the media and investigative authorities. I hope this does not repeat in any case.”
