Kriti Sanon (born 27 July 1990) is an Indian model and film actress. After a successful modeling career, she made her acting debut with Sukumar's Telugu psychological thriller film 1: Nenokkadine, and subsequently featured in Sabbir Khan's Hindi action-romance film Heropanti, opposite newcomer Tiger Shroff.

 

 

Sanon was born on 27 July 1990 in New Delhi, India. Her father, Rahul Sanon, is a Chartered Accountant, while her mother, Geeta Sanon, is an Associate Professor at Delhi University. She has one sibling, Nupur. 

 

Sanon did her schooling from Delhi Public School, R K Puram and completed Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication, from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida. 

 

 

Later that year, Sanon made her Hindi film debut with Sabbir Khan's action-romance film Heropanti, opposite newcomer Tiger Shroff. Despite only receiving mixed to negative reviews from most prominent critics, the film proved to be a commercial success at the Indian box office.
