Her father, Chunky Panday, recently made a hilarious joke about possibly having to have her DNA tested because she was able to carry a whole series by herself, something he acknowledged he would never be able to accomplish! She said that she thinks her parents' arguments are "damn funny."

In an interview with Ananya Panday on a YouTube channel, Chunky Panday expressed his respect for her acting skills and her remarkable development. He emphasized how her performance in Call Me Bae was exceptional, showcasing her capacity to keep the audience interested throughout the entire series throughout several episodes.

He joked that he might need to have her DNA tested for such talent, admitting that he could act out a few fantastic movie moments but couldn't manage a whole performance. “I can pull off a few nice scenes in films but carrying a whole film or show with you—that’s why I want to get your DNA checked,” he revealed.

Ananya also revealed a funny anecdote during their talk: If her parents fight, her mother reminds her father, "Save it for the screen." "I find it damn funny," she continued.

In a light-hearted response, the CTRL actress asked her father if he thought she was a good actor. "At home or on screen? My mother believes that I perform better at home than on screen.

Chunky brought out her voice and suggested that she try on lowering the screech when Ananya Panday questioned her father if he still saw any imperfections in her.

He acknowledged that it had gotten better, but he still felt the impulse to call her whenever she screamed. Despite his own shortcomings, he pointed out that all actors have them, and it's these defects that make them better actors.

Pointing out that flaws are part of the pleasure, he laughed off the flaw. Then he complimented Ananya, saying he was really pleased of her and that her performance was perfect.
