On Wednesday, January 1, 2025, Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking about his experience on X, Dosanjh said the encounter was quite memorable and that it was a great way to start the year. He said they talked about a lot of things, including music. Following his encounter, the singer went back to Mumbai, where a throng of admirers met and surrounded him at the airport. The Punjabi singer was seen attracting fans who wanted to take selfies with her.

As Diljit Dosanjh was seen leaving the airport in the video, he was surrounded by admirers and ecstatic children who were eager to see him. Posing for a selfie, the singer kindly accommodated a fortunate fan. In a black suit, Dosanjh looked dapper.

On X, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also posted a brief video of his encounter with the singer-actor. “A great interaction with Diljit Dosanjh! He’s truly multifaceted, blending talent and tradition. We connected over music, culture and more,” he shared.

On Tuesday, December 31, 2024, Diljit Dosanjh concluded his Dil-Luminati India Tour in Ludhiana. His two-month national tour, which started in Delhi on October 26, 2024, came to an end on New Year's Eve with the performance at the Punjab Agriculture University stadium.

Diljit's next professional appearance will be in the currently-produced film Border 2, which stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty. Additionally, he has Boney Kapoor's No Entry 2 scheduled.
